Does the average radius of the Earth's orbit increase or decrease over time, and by how much?

Milankovitch cycles are the collective effect of changes in the Earth's movements.

Hi

I  believe the earths orbit changes from elliptical to almost circular over thousands of years. This is the main reason for ice ages and periods of heat.

I would say the earth like all other orbiting objects are slowly moving away from the sun over billions of years.
