Wifey wants one of these because she is allergic to cat hair....they're so cute !!..look at those ears !!...trouble is...they're about £500...(almost $1000)...and I know I'll have to buy two !!.......anybody got experience with these Sphynx cats ?
By the way...we are cat lovers and ex-owners..(exchanged pets for four children instead !!).just never had a bald cat before. (well..not that kind of bald pu....STOP IT THERE NEIL !!![:D]) .
........apparently they feel like a hot suede water bottle and need bathing once a week (cripes...and there I was thinking my once a month shower was over doing it ! [:D]
Actually, I have also found out that these cats may not be a cure for people who are allergic to cat hair !!...anybody know why ?

I think it's because it's not the actual hair but the small particles of shed skin that are allergenic.

THANK GAIA...I will do some more research into it.I appreciate greatly your advice. We'll soon find out if she's allergic because we'll be visiting the breeder and we'll spend some time with the cats...

In fact...the photos above were sent to me by a local breeder (local to moi of course) which I obtained from another website...most people were quoting £950...but I think they were pedigrees....

I like the top pic of the cat, that one looks cute, the other one I'm not too sure about. Although it's all about the ears, they're wicked. [:)]
Is crazy how much it costs for certain pets. Our Dog was a pedigree, but we got him for free as he was a rescue dog. Luckily he wasn't stuck up or anything like that [;)]

car cannot be detailed today(sarcastically saying this)and it would cost you 10.00 extra...I will wait until Sunday morning hmmmppphhh! Oil change is done and drycleaning, some grocery store shopping, 2 bills paid, cleaned house-during the day!, aggravated kitty...he came back for more! Brat Cat!

Pretty good until evening and tried to send a friend a text message and almost tore my phone to pices because it wouldn't work... I was so frustrated that I wanted to stomp on it and crush the stupid thing! I can't remember getting that upset about anything for a very long time... I suspect I had a tad bit of hostility to get out so better alone by myself then with anyone around!!! Other then that everything else during the day was grand, It was just the evening... Now I am here and you make me calm! thanks LO!

You are just here when I needed you.. funny that brings me to mind of my mama, As a young adult married with kids. My mom and I were real close... I remember when I moved from a trailer on her property , to a place seven miles away from my mom... At the time I thought wow so cool to finaly be moved away from home, even though I was married and had a beautiful little girl. I had finally moved away from the property... joy wonder new found freedoms, expression my own ideas developing great growth by leaps and bounds, only to find I really was alot like her... we would call each other up and talk for a couple minutes then we would keep the phone to our ears as we watched a tv program and laughed at the same lines ... so silly some times just called her up to know she was there... and she always was... I wish she was here now... dead air on the line again, but she was there..... Like you LO... thanks

Dear Sir I am so sad to here that you were hospitalized after the severe blow to the head you recieved when that house landed atop your head.. It was a wise move to duck., but two bad she had a partner who threw the other one... we were bound to make contact with one of those houses...LOL

Lo...yaysh !! (that's how my 4 year old says ' yes '!!)..yaysh...kitty litter boxes are required....also good for handing round at partayyys as a quick crunchy gooey nosh (hee hee lol)
Karen Mam...yaysh !...they are so cute !!...lots of people think they look awful and there is a bit of shock factor to recover from before the cuteness element creeps in and bites at your ankles and then climbs up your leg ..........

The squirrels were great, going over obstacle courses, circus acrobatic tricks etc. I believe the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film also has trained squirrels. They're intelligent little critters.

George lived in a few places growing up,as I recall, mostly england but born at Hexham, where are you from, the same? I feel like I am missing something!Am I supposed to already know where you are from? did you already tell me or something... OOOh sorry if I forgot and already asked, that's awkward... I usually remember things like that! I do remember George is 5 years older then me! thats good. Hes a July and I'm August!! When is yours! Birthday that is, just month?
My Neighbor had a squirrel , but he was a pet and sweet very sweet! I have not seen Charlie and the chocolate factory yet! Probably won't although I heard good things about it!

I can't really remember, was there a Carling advert with a Spider or was that Fosters?
There was one which always had me in stitches though. It was set in some country and the sun was rising, cue three pair of legs running down the stairs in really tacky holiday shorts, then you see a bloke in bed stir gets up and walks to the window. The sun still rising and the three pair of legs turns out to be three men trying to get to the best sunbathing spot. The bloke from the window throws his towel and the theme to the dambusters comes on, the towel (which is of the Union Jack) bounces off the pool unravels on the sun lounger and a beer (pretty sure it was carling) rolls into a ice bucket.

Just found the original Smash advert. Obviously I was a little young for this one, but when I saw it on a tv programme I almost wet myself.......this to me was quality advertising, not like some of the crap we have now......hope you enjoy

Well, if I remember correctly, the alien robots were not meant to be laughing but one day the puppeteers were making jokes about the director but as the robots, the director caught them and thought that it was a really good idea, so thus the laughing alien robots are a cheerful bunch [:)]

Yes, I remember the flying blanket on the sun lounger. Boy I miss decent ads with real humour, though I suppose we at least get a 'comfort break' these days [:D]
Also loved the old Guinness 'pure genius' ads with Rutger Hauer.

I haven't got the energy to look at the advert site (I wnat to) as I presume it means downloading video files and I only have the rest of my life !!..not enough time with my 12k internet connection ( Have I mentioned how crap it is by the way ?)

Definitely a lovely soft rug, an ice bucket with a nice chilled bottle of white wine (I don't like champagne and not really a fan of red wine) . There would also be a lovely sofa that you can sink into. There with a special person, snuggle up together with a glass of wine, chatting with only the fire giving the room light. A tender kiss, and a most memorable night. The cabin would have a lovely old stove, not sure what they are called, I would cook, yes I know, a little risky, but sausages, eggs, bacon and beans are easy [;)] but a nice breakfast in bed. The bed itself would have to be a beautiful 4 poster bed, soft pillows and quilt, a beautiful native american indian blanket to help keep us warm.
Nearby there would be a small stream and a lake. We would go fishing, collect some more fire wood and retire back to the cabin. Stoke up the fire, and snuggle up while reading our favourite book.....Oh, not forgetting with a lovely cup of hot coco with marshmallows in [;)]

Sounds like the bug's on both sides of the pond. Lots of hot drinks and rest is my prescription. Try to get some sleep, I know it's difficult but give your body a chance to at least rest and recuperrate! As for me, my throat is still bad and temperature yoyoing, which is annoying 'cos I don't usually get fevers. It's just a bug, think I'm just going to have to wait it out, oh well.
