Title: Will lemon sorbet corrode a metal bowl?

I love to make my own ice cream and sorbets, I was wondering if it's safe to keep frozen your lemon sorbet in the metal container that common ice cream machines have. Is there any risk of metal corrosion and therefore health risk if I eat from it?

What do you think?

If you are worried about it, it might be better to transfer it to a glass, paper or plastic container. Do you happen to know what metal they use?

just some consideration:
- the lemon juice is slightly corrosive and the quantity that you put into the ice cream or sorbet is very small
- you've to consider that corrosion is a function of the temperature, and at temp close to o below 0°C it will be negligible
- i suppose that the metal container is made of stainless steel that it's a corrosion resistant alloy and it will be not affected by lemon jiuce
