I want to make an explosion like a c4 or grenade. I want to know how can i do this. I really dont know how to get black powder, but if you could tell me i would really appreciate i.
I would like a TUT on how to make something destructive.
If you go to youtube you see people making like 1000g pipebombs well how do people do this. Or such as the army where do they get it all. Thanks tons

Nick,
Did you realise there might be very good reasons for explosives not being widely available?

I used to be into this kind of stuff. But then I realised that the FBI can seriously curtail a persons hopes for career/future if they feel that you are the least bit suspicious. There is nothing keeping them from thinking that you want this device so you can take it into a Burger King. I personally don't think you do, but I'm not the FBI so that's irrelevant.

Rosy that why I suggested to cut the top Sorry

I realize the OP is in
Canada the US (oops, sorry), and therefore not subject to English law. However, since this website is based in Cambridge, UK, and under English law making more than 100 g of black powder at any one time is illegal, as is confining it to make any kind of explosive device, I'm going to lock this thread.
The information you're looking for is all over the internet, but given that posters responding here have no idea either what your intentions for this black powder are nor, perhaps more significantly, what might be the intention of individual subsequently trawling the site for this sort of information, I don't think it's a good idea to provide an unnecessary opportunity for people to get into legal difficulties (or, indeed, accidentally blow themselves up.. just as we don't know who you are, you don't know who we are or whether any reply you receive here is likely to be accurate).
ETA: If following maffsolo's suggestion, bear in mind that an exploding pop bottle will typically go off at pressures greater than 6 Atm, which is a heck of a bang. I saw it done a while back and it left a 4 inch deep crater in the turf it had been standing on. Despite the apparent lack of pyrotechnics, that's one to try with considerable care (and a nice long way from any people).
Further edit to get OP's country right. D'oh.
