Title: Could Sleep apnea affect intellegence?
Post by: elegantlywasted on 28/05/2007 00:47:45
If a lack of oxygen to the brain causes brain damage, is it possible that someone who suffers from sleep apnea could "lose" enough brain cells to effect their intelligence?

P.S. I know the number of brain cells you have doesnt have a direct correlation with how smart you are, but could it interfere with memory recalls or quickness of thought, speech, etc..
