How do I make my stomach stop growling in class?

The last 2 weeks my stomach has been growling during class. I can't seem to get it to stop no matter how much I eat and exercise. It is really embarrassing and it is starting to really get to me.

Nibble on some carrots and celery in class it will give your stomach something to be digesting during that time.. some fibers to break down something for the stomach acid to eat up as you are in class.
Take a baggie full of chopped raw fresh vegetables to eat during class.

Are you stressed? this can often make your tummy a bit grumbly. You might have a food intolerance that is upsetting your tum. Drinking water can often help so take a bottle into class and take sips throughout the day.
Mint tea and charcoal tablets can often help. If all else fails see your doctor. If it is upsetting you it is worth a visit.
If it is any consilation, I have IBS which is caused partly by stress. My tummy used to rumble loudly in exams and later, when I was a teacher, in my pupils exams whilst I was invidulating. You are not alone!

MIL what does a charcoal tablet do.. does it make your tummy less acidic and more alkaline or something like killing bacteria that may be a problem...?

Activated charcoal is a traditional remedy for treating excess stomach and intestinal gas. It works by attracting excess gas in the stomach and bowels, which binds to the surface of the charcoal powder. This relieves the discomfort caused by excess gas (flatulence), wind, indigestion and heartburn. The charcoal is not absorbed from the gut.Activated charcoal is also used in hospital emergency departments to treat poisoning.
Gas in the stomach sometimes causes the growling as it moves around.
