Title: Why does time go slowly when you're bored?

Dr. John Miller asked the Naked Scientists:
   
When you are bored,your internal clock speeds up, and time seems to slows down or drag.  When you become excited, your internal clock slows down and time seems to fly by.  True or False? Why?

What do you think?

I think it's true, It make sense.

The odd thing is, it works both ways.  In one psychology experiment, they showed that people rated an activity as more "fun" or enjoyable when it lasted a shorter amount of time than they were told it was going to, than when it lasted exactly as long or more time than expected.  (The actual amount of time involved didnt matter as much as the difference between what they were told it would take and what it did take.)

Moreover, when you're having fun, you stimulate the reward center in your brain, with the accompanying release of neurotransmitters. These released neurotransmitters might have an effect on your internal clock as well
