I found this rock? almost 20 years ago and was just curious as to what it was. Any info would be great. Thanks

Hmm, more of an igneous or metamorphic rock.

Given the gray metallic luster, the pleochroism, and the crystal habit- I'm fairly certain that is specular hematite.

After searching around on google, I believe thats exactly what it is. I forgot I had it, and found it again a few days ago and was curious. Thanks for the help.
