Wave locking

A proposal that rather than an electron absorbing or emitting a photon that the waves of the two particles may become locked together. The moment of inertia of the photon acts as a break on the angular momentum of the photon and in doing so causes a break in symmetry. The photon in turn adds energy to the wave of the electron and forces it into a higher orbital. At present I have no equations for this concept. As a starting point the action of a moving wave on a standing wave will need to be considered. With a formulation of the actions between the two types of wave and how they might lock together. The main problem here is determining how symmetry is restored to the photon as it is release from the wave locking.

It may be that the action of gravitation is affected by the symmetry breaking between interlocking of photons and electrons in excited states. Hence hot air rises. Not because it has somehow magically gotten lighter but because the symmetry breaking interferes to some extent with gravitational wave locking.
