Ruby has puppies :P Thought you might want to see them so click on the image to view a slide show.

Have filmed the birth of two puppies and will share this later.

Lovely pics, Andrew. Thank you for sharing them with us. I went "awwwww" quite a few times during the slideshow. I hope mum & pups do well.

Evie, I have ben looking for a poem I wrote about the breed titled "Little Pink Pig" its on paper so may take a fair bit of searching out. Glad you liked the pups

Karen bet it put a smile on your face and for a moment you forgot about your aches and pains :P

yep whittle babes of any kind have a way with doing that for people.. I am paticularly a pushover for babes of all varieties!

Update.

One of the puppies has a large swollen shoulder this morning and was in pain. Either abscess or an injury, felt like an abscess.

Down vets 10.20 am and it was an abscess, poor tyke. Had the abscess drained and antibiotics for two weeks. Puppy still feeding and looks more rested now that the pus has been drained out. No injury visible anywhere, so hard to determine how this happened, may have been an insect bite or a tiny scratch off another puppy.

Vet says she should make a full recovery, and we feel she will.

Fingers crossed.

OHHHHHHH They have grown so much and are so cute and warm fuzzy little pups! Pup with abscess, is she coming along well now? They are so sweet Andrew Great pictures!

Yes she is doing fine now, we still have to drain the abscess but now only clear fluid building up and this is reducing thanks to antibiotics from vet.

The last featured puppy has real character. They grow up soooo fast. Bull Terriers always look a bit primeval to me. I don't know the history of the bread but they have the look of an anteater or something.
