admittedly coverage is directional with this Blue-Peter style (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/classic/bluepeter/makes/) addon, (previously omnidirectional).

On the other hand, if you need a highly directional WIFI antenna for making a bridge, then it will cost about as much as a can of Pringles.
