I think I have some of that tea growing in the garden next door, hard to say, it looks so much like marigoilds, so will wait until they flower to be sure......

Well, to be sure that they are not a menace to society, I would suggest a covert night mission to capture a bud, dry it, and evaluate it over a period of months - or however long it takes. Only a person committed to truth and service to their fellow man, such of yourself, can protect society from the menaces of false marigolds (For future reference, please note the correct spelling of the last word.)

OH - and WELCOME! fredlovetea!

Jimbob, that "tea" is grown here in really large amounts. Fly though the province during winter (now) and if you see a square that is so green that it is almost blue you know exactly what it is.

Hey there Fred! Glad to have you on-board the good ship TNS  [:)]

You may note that BenV has modified your last message - I'm guessing to stop email snooping software 'grabbing' your skype address off the forum.  If this is so, just be careful where you post sensitive information or you might end up getting inundated with spam or worse  [:(]

My basement has a water problem, or to be more specific, it has a water problem at high tide ( and has had this problem since 1939 when the building was built, nothing due to "Climate Change" but more due to being built on sand dunes) and building a sub basement would mean either a serious lot of pumping or growing gills.

I do like living in a green city, where even industrial areas have lots of green trees and rolling bush vistas.

A basement in the house we had in California would have been almost impossible. It was built on a post-tension concrete slab to make it more earthquake resistant. There were mucking great steel cables in the slab. The threaded ends projected around the periphery of the slab so the cables could be tensioned after the slab was poured. I'd never seen anything quite like it before.

There were even notices cast into the concrete surface that warned of the dire consequences of drilling holes in the concrete!

I thought that this thread was about " liking 'green' ", an NSF member. I like him, too! [:)]
