Title: What happens to the DNA of a transplanted organ in the host body?
Post by: James Kankula on 30/01/2009 02:30:02
James Kankula asked the Naked Scientists:

What happens to the DNA material of a transplanted organ in the host body?  How much of the donor organ DNA gets into the host body in general?  Does the material get absorbed into the host and then recoded to fit the host's DNA?

What do you think?
