Is there an equivalent to an American criminals "Miranda Rights" in Britain and how do they go? These are the rights read to a criminal as they are arrested.

Yes - here to a criminal is advised that they are not required to say anything ...

The difference is that in recent years changes have come about that say that "if you choose not to say anything, this may be used in court against you" (or words to that effect), and there are also now issues if you refuse to say something when you are arrested, and then try and bring the matter up later in part of your defence, I think the judge may forbid you from using the material in court (not sure exactly how that goes).
