Title: pdf document inedx
Post by: wali on 14/08/2008 08:42:01
Hello, is there anybody who can help me in how to make an index of a large pdf document so that i can print the whole in the form of a book. I created a pdf document from a chm file but the software i used does not have  option of indexing the document. I used chm to pdf converter. Furthermore i want numbering of the pdf document pages to make a complete ebook.
Thanks in advance man  [:o]

There are lots of PDF utilities here (http://www.snapfiles.com/downloadfind.php?action=s&st=pdf&search.x=0&search.y=0).

I can't be bothered to trawl through them all to see if they do what you want, you'll have to do that yourself.  [:P]

I would assume that openoffice could do that, but I've never tried.  Indexing and page numbers should be part of it though.

I use OpenOffice, but I never make PDFs so I don't know about that side of it.
