OK! so ive read an article here regarding the restriction our muscles have (e.g, not using 100% of its potential) and discovered that its a way that our body protects itself, as to not exert the muscles ect...
my question is, is there any way to bypass these mechanisms, to push your body past its limits.
i have already heard that you can use electric shocks to do this, and adrenalin (like your life's in danger).

btw, im only in the 8th grade, so please dumb it down a little for me
