Title: Is VY Canis Majoris visible with the naked eye?

If so where tonight would I have to look? There are several great YouTube clips showing the size comparison to the other planets and sun. Wowsers!

No it is too faint to be seen with the naked eye but it is visible in a small telescope or binoculars.
