Philip Clarke asked the Naked Scientists:
Dear Naked Scientist,
I am a Physics Teacher, looking for examples from the real world that the children can relate to.
I have heard that using just your fingers and a bright source of light that you can see the effects of light diffraction, such as a fringe pattern. However, I'm not so sure. I think that my skin is opaque and that affects it. Any suggestions would be of interest.
