Royal Institution Christmas Lectures 2007FivePeak PerformanceNew series of five lectures exploring the human body. Dr Hugh Montgomery begins by explaining how oxygen from the air is used to release energy in the cells - describing the mechanics of the lungs, heart and circulatory system. He also talks to mountaineers who have climbed Mount Everest, where there is three times less oxygen than at sea level
showing on channel 5 at 7:15 pm tonight, hopfully someone will post them on youtube or some similar site.
