I was wondering what the STRONGEST type of sticker/label is? I am assuming it is the type that is used to safety labels, etc... Anybody know what kind of label this is called or where I can get custom ones made?

Why do you want a strong glue for your label?
If the purpose is to make sure that the label cannot be tampered with, then the main thing is not simply that the glue be strong, but that the glue be stronger than the label (i.e. a medium strength glue with a week label is adequate, as it ensures that the label will tear before the glue does - whereas a strong glue with an even stronger label might still represent a liability as the label can still pull away from the glue).

Well.. Double-sided sticky tape is extremely strong, if that is what you are looking for.

A lot will depend on what you want to stick your label to (the "substrate"), and a lot will also depend on what we could call storage conditions (freezer, fridge, or in the open and exposed to wind, weather and direct sunlight). You simple will not use the same glue for beer bottles as for glass jars for preserves or jam - in fact you will even use other types of paper !

well, it is not for the purposes above at all. There is an international graffiti artist that goes by the name BENET/BNE. He/she has these stickers that seem to be strongest type of stickers I've ever dealt with. I actually have to remove these from time to time and there is absolutely no way to do this without ruining the surface... I am just curious as to what kind of sticker this is and where people obtain these. It's not your average vinyl, hello my name is type of adhesive... Any ideas?

Look up BNE sticker on flickr.com and you can see some examples of people trying to remove these stickers...
(You may have definitely seen them around if you are from San Francisco, Japan or NYC)
