Title: Does Brownian Motion Affect Bacteria ?

It was a container of waterand some stuff with a light shining into it and things seem pretty random. When I got to sixth year physics, the teacher was setting up the experiment for the 1st year people and said that if the light wasn't there, nothing would happen and this wasn't even really Brownian motion.

I've just had a silly thought - Brown Ian motion - Mr Beale walking around Albert Square after returning from a holiday in The Canary Islands! [:D]

I understand the dromedary reference..and I am impressed verily, with your knowledge of double humped camel joy...........Perhaps a local beaver optician might be worth a visit ?.....Unless you think it's camels that are displayed above then I am a tad concerened !!..LOL.........though, perhaps ewe're thinking of the prog rock band instead !! [:D]

I believe that turnipsock reply is not really correct. Brownian Motion is an effect from the enviroment. Imagine particles or bacteria small bigger or small than the other molecules in the solution. They will collide to each other and therefore some thermal energy will arise from the contacts. The thermal fluctiation is Brownia Motion. Please read Howard Berg (Random Walks in Biology) if you want to know more about Browniam motion and other aspects of micron/nano size organisms.

Welcome to the forum leandro and thank you... I was just going to tell Neil how much I loved all those pretty Little Balloons but did not Know what Brownian Motion was.....I have never heard of it! lol...Thanks for the information....
