Title: Forum offline this morning

At some point today I am swapping over the server which drives the site, there will be a period of a couple of hours where I won't be able to tell which server you are going to be able to see, to avoid loosing posts I will lock the old forum. You will be able to post as soon as you can see the new server.

So it won't affect you except you won't be able to post for a couple of hours

Dave thanks for telling us but does the changeover of servers mean that every single present threads, posts and areas will be lost for good??

No nothing will be lost. I will copy the forum across. just there will be a period where there are two active servers and I can't predict which one you will see, so I will have to lock one during this period as otherwise some posts will be on one server and others on another.

I think my my server is acting up because my home computers are not working yet.... but I am acessing right now with my mobile!
but its everywhere with the home computer... something is amiss!

Ok I am in on my computer now.. but was still off 30 minutes ago.. Thanks its working! It was earlier today but then it quit so I will keep an eye on it!

seems really good and fast but I don't see anything different or new.. is that normal?

It was just the server right.. no forum changes except hopefully no more timing out... eh??

I wouldn't frequent any forum with a '4' in its name instead of 'for.'

Damn, its still full of the same people! I had hoped this "maintenance" was aa smokescreen for a mass cull of some of the...erm, members.
