Am I the only one still young here? Singing live songs for hour.So much sweet love hidden in my heart, its painful some times.I miss my young lovers, all of them. Time will not return, so sad.
Sad for you perhaps, but in some ways encouraging. Studies show that people's experience of happiness and pain, and their memory of that experience are irrational and contradictory. We tend to remember things that ended badly as being more unpleasant than it was, and since most relationships do not tend to end well, we often remember the entire experience as mostly negative. It actually sounds like you have a more accurate and balanced recollection of your past relationships, hence miss the positive aspects more than others might. I've been reading Daniel Gilbert's Stumbling on Happiness, and he talks a lot about the contradiction between the experience of happiness vs the memory of that experience.
