That's Brendan my butler doggy !..good boy !!

Sometimes I prefer some green tea or a root beer....other times I may prefer some vichyssoise....but mostly I just lick the back of a hairy chicken !...erhmmm....

In any case....I have noticed that when consuming a fruity beverage to quench my thirst I prefer it to be on the cool side and not warm ...why's that then?

Why Do Some Drinks Taste Better When Cold ?

Please to be asisting me in the understanding of imbibing cool beverages.

Hugs and shmishes

I have a cool/warm box in the cab of my trusty van. Switch it to cool to keep bottles of pop & sandwiches cold and fresh, switch it to warm to keep my fish & chips hot until I find a suitable lay-by to partake of my repost.

One day I put in a bottle of smoothy. As the day progressed, I found myself wanting of some chilled refreshment. Reaching into the box, to my horror, I discovered I had  turned the control to warm instead of chill. Have you ever tried a hot fruity smoothy???

YUK!

The odd thing is that while drinks which should be served chilled when served hot or warm taste pretty awful, those beverages which are usually served hot (tea, coffee etc.) can also be served chilled and still be delicious.
