-30 c =________ F?
Since this meant to be a scientific website can I ask why none of you seem to be including units with the temperature measurements?OK, I know you are going to say it's obvious from the context; no it's not. My dad could have said "I'd say zero is pretty cold. I have never met zero before!" when he first went to university; what he and a friend (also from Kenya) actually said to their new found friends was "I have never seen snow before".BTW, -30C is well below 0F, I think it's about -22F which raises the question "Where are you that's so cold neilp?"
Sorry if I accidentally caused any offence back there. It' just that, without a unit, people like me who usually deal in C and K get muddled when people talk in F.
It's 45 Celsius here..that's about 113 Fahrenheit....I may have to turn the heating off!
