Title: What do you have planned for New Years 2010?

I usually go to friends in Field landing but as of right now I have no plans, and am open for suggestions! LOL

Anyones have any without Alcohol involved?..LOL..
I want to find something fun..... To go somewhere new would be fun!

Fireworks 'ave already started outside. The dogs are gonna be up all night barking!

Not here its storming, raining and windy.. supposed to be a bad one but it is only 45 degrees F.

Well, I don't drink unless ofcourse indulging in a cup of hot cocoa counts. Don't do the socializing thing much anymore either. So I figure I'll just sit here watching the hands on the clock slowly expend the hours of my life away.................NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, if the weather weren't so foul right now, I'd like to go see the fire works display this evening. But we have snow on the ground and it's still coming down so I think I'll just put on a good movie and kick back. Or maybe I'll watch the countdown at times square on TV???????????????

Add a Cozy fire, hot chocolate, with a movie and the wife sounds like you have it made....oh...chocolate dipped strawberries...Yummmm..maybe even slow dancing to some lovely music.. and some nice snuggling.....

Actually Karen, I don't really have it made as you say. The wife'ieee isn't the romantic type, doesn't care about snuggling, and can't tolerate the chocolate dipped strawberry, if ya get my drift???

Happy New Year to you too Karen, ............She's, referring to the car ofcourse, been a work in progress for about 10 years now. Most of the ladies aren't particularly interested in the mechanical side of things but, I'll brag on her a little for you anyway.

10.65 compression
268/280 Comp cam
roller rockers
roller lifter
steel crank
H-beam rods
balanced at our shop
Smokey Yunick cross ram manifol,.........(very rare)
700r-4 transmission
9" ford rear end with 373 gears

Motor makes around 520 HP with 500 ft lbs of torque

Haven't had it to the strip but it should run the 1/4 in the low 11's.
I have a 72 dodge demon that I race and it does the 1/4 in the low 10's

Enough braggin for one day don't ya think???
