What lives on our skin? Dr. Martin Blaser, the chairman of the department of medicine at NYU School of Medicine, is trying to find out. After swabbing the arms of six people, Blaser and his lab found 182 different species of bacteria--thirty of which had never been seen before.

I liked the video and she was a beautiful young doctor!
So much of our little critters may be more beneficial then we know!

too true, Karen.
Do you listen to NPR? I have to say it's my fave radio station.

Once in a while. I listen to very little these days.. its usually silent in here except my voice talking as I type to you all! Kinda more like communicating to me.. I say everything I type! Helps me type faster!
I try to read more things in here and have been trying to research all of my medical stuff lately... mostly out of frustration.. and the need to know what is happening to me so I can be more ready for things... Its better to face things head on rather then burying my head.. Makes me feel better to be doing something.. and you never know maybe I will find something to help myself while I am at it!
NPR has interesting things on sometimes and I like the way it is done.. I have tried to listen to more podcasts also.. very interesting stuff and funny too. I like when they keep a sense of humor, otherwise they lose me!
