Title: How long could you cycle at Tour de France pace?

Were they really going at TDF pace for five minutes? Perhaps that's based on someone sitting in the middle of the bunch, in which case it's possible (you get sucked along to the point that you often find yourself freewheeling), but it takes a lot of training to be able to maintain 25mph for five minutes without going along in a slipstream. If you can really do that, you should give proper training a go and see if you can turn professional.
