Title: Why is my bladder always full after swimming?
Post by: Orlando Nelthorpe on 20/10/2010 11:30:14
Orlando Nelthorpe  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi Naked Scientists,

Love the show (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/) folks, but I have a question.

Why after I've been for a swim in the pool do I have an overwhelming desire to go for a pee? My bladder's always full; and while I'm now in my fifties I always remember having this problem. Incidentally, I always leave the pool before relieving myself!

Do I leak from the outside in or is it all caused by suggestion?

By the way, I've got loads of questions for you; so you'll be getting one a week for a couple of months!

Bye,

Orlando

What do you think?
