BBC4 this evening.
A good programme, I thought; not just pretty photography. Did anyone else see it?
-
No, I was in bed, anything good?
-
Can't get BBC4 here in Germany. [:(] [:(!]

I think you could see it on BBC iplayer - on the dreaded internet.
-
See if you can find it HERE (http://www.viewmy.tv/view-online-tv.aspx#)

The iplayer wants me to be in the UK for TV watching. <expletive deleted>
Radio works fine, though.

I have recorded it, hope to watch it soon. Perhaps when 'er indoors nods off after Constipation Street, I can watch it in peace, otherwise I'll just get the usual 'Not another documentry or nature programme!'
-
What do they show on BBC one and BBC two?
-
Monika, there was a pretty good Darwin-week on 3sat 2 weeks ago. They cauth up several themes (epigenetics, rassism, where could evolution lead to, evolution of men... and so on) and discussed about it or showed documentarys about 2 or 3 hours each evening of the week. They promised to do some other Darwin-weeks this year.
Another pretty good thing is the evening programme on arte. Each evening on 20:15 they show an nature documentary. They also have Theme-weeks... like Afrika, Brasil, oceans... I learnt a lot of new things... these are not only these 0/8/15-documentarys you always see on TV, some of them are really good.
I don´t know what this weeks theme is... yesterday there was a documentary of a pretty large pack of lions (about 30 lions) specialised on the elephant-hunt. I think it´s not what you usually get to see..
edit:
Ok, seems to be the topic "predators" or something like that this week.
Today they show something about sharks in a cave... didn´t we have this question a few weeks ago here...how sharks breathe? I think this is releated to that. Unfortuneatley I wont be able to watch this.
(they seem to switch the big topic after the second week of february...then it seems to be more geographical themes)

Yes, I caught the Darwin Week on 3Sat. Phoenix has some good documentaries as well, recycled from ARD and ZDF, but good anyway.
-
I don´t have Phoenix [:-'(]
-
No Phoenix? [:-'(] Awww, I'd miss that one for sure. Currently I'm using DVB-T, and they don't have BBC World. [:(!]
