Now why can't they use the same principal when it comes to non-snow ski slopes ?
So much better than that material stuff which grazes ewe when ewe fall !! (not me of course...as a sheepy I am of course an expert skiier)

Because you wouldn't be able to steer on it. To steer with skis or a snowboard you must angle or tilt it but as soon as you did that on an air-table the air would escape and you'd end up scraping the surface.

And it would hurt more to fall, i've been flying down a ski slope just about as fast as i could go and gone over, and just tumbled and tumbled and lost my skis, boots, beanie, sunnys, ski poles and a sock but i wasn't hurt at all, on hard stuff like that i wouldn't have been so lucky
