Oh god, not another "are we just computers" story!
We already know what happens, you die, the end and so far no evidence to suggest otherwise. Unless someone has returned from the dead to tell us how fantastic being dead is, is there anything else to know?
Just off to write a book about how gullible people are and how their gullibility was pre programmed by "the one" [
] to trick us into believing we are in control so we buy the book!

I already have and read quite a bit of it but its similar stuff to what I have read before and nothing very new.
Computers, in technology terms are very new and only just beginning and will develop in the future to be totally different to what we have now. Trouble is people are writing as if the computers we have now will be the same in the future.
I have also read before about Synaesthesia and how Indigo children are supposed to exist because one synaesthetic (probable just made that word up) saw an indigo coloured aura around some "new age children"
One person sees it so it must be true and a new age mystery starts.
The common conclusion among most is that the Tunguska event was a meteor explosion and not a Nuclear blast from a UFO.
quote
"There is strong
evidence
that this Universe is one of a countless number of others, all being brought into existence by an act of observation by other versions of you."
I cant find this
evidence
only the speculation.
quote
"If, like Neo at the start of the film The Matrix, we are all living inside a pre-recorded simulation then there must be an occasional glitch in the playback, a tell-tale sign that proves that this is all an internally generated holographic image."
Why a glitch in playback, if the intelligence that created it was that intelligent he/she would make sure it was perfect so we don't ever get to question anything. The matrix was a good film and I have just bought the second one because I enjoyed it. Trouble is scientifically its basis is very thin, very flawed and its not a very practical way of controlling or using people but, its sci-fi so that's fine.
I have not yet seen the rest of the films but understand that they are all based on the bible and revelations!
Cynical, yes as there have been several similar threads about so called mystical events under the heading of "new theories" Most were promoting the sales of books to illustrate their point that had little to do with actual science and was mainly speculation.
