Very interesting. Strangely enough, it sort-of fits in with something I've thought for quite a while but I don't have the maths or physics expertise to develop or describe it. It's just a kind of multi-dimensional pattern I have in my head that would be almost impossible to put into words.

We need to see and math behind this idea, while the amount of energy to carry such a use, may be a problem. I have heard that this theory is incomplete but would still keep an open mind.

This article refers to Heim-theory I posted a reference to the background reading further down the board.
If you want to explore new theory that offers some interesting possibilities look into Heim theory
http://www.heim-theory.com/downloads/A_Abstract.pdf
there is an article on it in this week's New Scientist but they have sensationalised it a bit by concentrating on some of the more spectacular possibilities.
Heim theory as a quantum gravity theory has been around for quite a long time is being taken more seriously by the scientific world.
The most important thing that it appears to do is predict accurately the masses of the fundamental particles quite accurately which at the moment is more than any other theory of everything manages.
Trust a journalist to sensationalise and trivialise with an extreme example what could be a worthwhile investigation.

I did read that very few physicists have ever read or studied this theory since Heim's theory was published in three books, only in German. It does sound interesting in that this theory tries to integrate quantum theory along with Einstein's GR theory which as it appears Einstein would not have considered.
