There has been a lot of discussion lately about Drosophila suzukii, an invasive fruit fly that is apparently more damaging to crops that the more common fruit flies. 

I wonder if one could spray crops with an anti-fruit fly oil which would be non toxic, but perhaps reduce fruit fly replication.
