Title: Generational language limbo!
Post by: Make it Lady on 13/03/2008 17:14:59
I was talking to an old friend in a coffee shop and he referred to a girls face as being pixelated. I assumed he meant dotted and blurry but he meant it was like a pixie.
Has anyone else had a similar lingo misunderstanding?

I remember a very old Gary Cooper film (I think it was 'Mr Deeds goes to town') where the term 'pixelated' was used as a euphemism for being the worse for drink.
