Title: Internet bombs
Post by: syhprum on 04/11/2006 17:24:58
I note that an American web site giving details of Iraq's nuclear bomb program has been taken down as it might aid 'rogue states' in building their bombs.
What a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, in the unlikely event of there being any information that anyone in the nuclear weapons field was not already familiar with they would have recorded it long since especially as the language was Arabic which the scientists of 'rogue states' would no doubt be familiar with.
As a technician nuclear bombs have always held an obscene fascination for me as I would love to dismantle one to facilitate its destruction!

It does seem to be the case that people did not think things through (the story of everything to do with Iraq and the West), but in the end, I don't think it is the design of the bomb that is the problem, but the obtaining of the raw materials with which to make it.
