Karen - I won't need to go anywhere near the frog. His hoof is extended forwards but not curled up. All it needs is rasping back to a proper length. Poor thing ,having to stand on 3 legs for twenty minutes so a beaver can nibble at his hoves.
Well, I did it. Comet's hoof looks a lot better now & he was happily trotting around without stumbling. It took me about 20 minutes as I was taking things carefully, not having done it before. But the biggest plus is that I didn't get kicked! []
