I am on two of those sites and it is a mess they talk nice for the first few times then want to jump right into sex!
If its just sex they want why not take out an add on Craigs list? They have some doozies there!
You should join up and find out I have also met two women who had claimed to be men.. so how do you like them apples...? LOL...

Hey Karen W. I am very lucky to be happily hooked up and I don ot envy you being single today. My younger brother has just turned 30 and is really battling to find ways of meeting women that he can talk to and get to know as well. He has tried speed dating which he really enjoyed because you can go to a specific themed session, eg, successful business people - in which the men and women are on equal terms from a business perspective. This type of setup at least ensures that you can get som eof the rif raff out of the way.

It seems that most of the dating sites are every highly populated by guys that figure that if they are clear about looking for sex and they get a hit then they cut out a lot of time and effort.....lazy buggers. I guess that there must be some decent sites out there and if not, maybe Worth firing one up because I am sure that your feelings are not exclusive on this matter.

There was some person on craigs list, who was trying to organize a weekly pot luck dinner where only singles attend, but they bring dishes of food and everyone sits down mingles eats a meal and then everyone visits and talks about what they like to do.. It is very old fashioned, and you just attend these weekly dinners and or public gatherings and meet people. You then begin to make friends get to know each other and if you make a connection or really get along with someone then a phone number can be exchanged if you like. If you are comfortable with that....I think that sounded kind of nice...
I hope your brother has better luck then me... Speed dating sucks as far as I am concerned..LOL...but like you, I have known people to do it and they actually liked it...I am not sure how.

Yes I would hope so,but then again do I want to pay a dating service to choose for me my type! I don't think I have a type.. I like loads of people and personalities and It has to be more involved for me.. there has to be a huge mental tugging going on in my head.. I cannot explain..LOL I'm just weird.. A guy might be a hunk but The fact is I want to talk a lot and really listen a lot before I can even begin to feel that pull that first begins attraction for me.. it may be some weird little way his eye twinkles when he smiles and how he expresses himself or tells his story.. I just don't know myself until I hear it and feel it..

I may be slow, but I eventually figure things out. Years ago, I was mentally comparing a few fast food restaurants, and I noticed that their products weren't too different, but their prices were. I liked the restaurant with less riff-raff … kids throwing food, parents screaming at kids, squished ketchup packs and french fries on the floor, etc -- but it was the slightly higher-priced place. And then I realized (I told you I was slow) that the higher price kept the riff raff away, even though both sold basically the same food.
So, there you go … start an online dating service, charge a (ridiculously?) jacked up price to keep the riff-raff out, claim to be exclusive, and rake in the dough!
Well if I did that I certainly would not be bored but I would be crazy..LOL I have no desire to run a high priced match making service! LOL...I am happy to let you handle the new business...lol Up and coming multi millionaire in the making,

Yes that is true.. I am attracted to many things in another human being so I just never know.. Only been in love twice in my life and I turn 50 this year! So Its really unlikely that love will present itself a third time but just the same a likable tolerable nice interesting man would be very welcome....LOL.. such is life...
