Your PC firewall can be tweaked a little tighter than you might want your router. If someone on the network is into on-line gaming the router will need to pass the gaming ports. Your PC that you use for business and not gaming can have those ports turned off.

Do you have just one computer? If so you don't really need an extra firewall.

But if you have more than one computer, i.e. your kids have computers too, a firewall might be a good idea. Esp. if your kiddos like to surf the web a lot. Children (male, 15 and above) are very good at catching malware. The malware might then infect your computer over your home network, a software firewall might prevent that.

The ring is really beautiful! The great and blue hues look great.

Thanks Monica  Yes, the kids have a PC and they receive their surfing fun via the wireless thingy that my router sends them. I'm good at catching Malware too...seems like Ben (14) and I have a lot in common !  [;)]

Glad ewe like the ring (we make them ewe know  [;)])...that particular one used some Australian OPAL (http://images.google.com/images?q=australian%20opal&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi) I have a White Gold version of it sadly becoming ruined as I have caught it a couple of times on the car door !
