Luke Bizeray asked the Naked Scientists:
Hi Chris,
When I'm tired, it seems to take more effort to exercise but if I'm awake and alert, it can come more easily.
If it is taking more effort - ie. If I wake up at 3:00am, and while I'm half asleep, force myself to do say, 30 push-ups, would it burn more calories then doing them at 11:00am the next day when I wasn't so tired?
Regards,
Luke
