Is the universe the cell of a much large being?

The universe began as a tiny, point sized particle - which then inflated and sub atomic particles combined to form atoms etc. This is the normal Big Bang Theory. But how did that particle even come into existence, in the first place?
Every living being is made up of cells, which can be further divided into several other parts - depending on the type of cell. Binary Fission, is the simplest form of reproduction. One cell splits into two daughter cells, which then grow into identical cells. Similar is the process of multiple fission, where there are not two, but multiple daughter cells.
Now that you know these two things, think of the entire universe as a living, organic cell.
It started off as a small point sized particle, expanding in size and gradually developing. It contained nothing, but fundamental particles such as neutrons, protons and electrons. Over time, the free electrons would combine with the nuclei available - forming neutral atoms. This universe, is about 13.82 Billion Years old, which means it had ample time for matter to develop over time, creating smaller ‘cellular organs’ such as Galaxies, Stars, Planets, Black holes, white holes and what not.
At present, the universe is still expanding, or aging - is a better word to describe it. Once the universe reaches maturity, there will be a point where, like every cell, it will split and form its ‘daughter cells’. This will lead to the creation of more, similar universe. Either from the scratch - facing complete destruction once it breaks off and starting again as a point sized particle, or it will continue to mature from the same stage as it breaks off.
If it self-destructs, and goes back to being a point-sized particle, then their is a high chance of their being similar universes, since they were born from the same ‘parent’ universe. There would be changes, like different galaxies, different forms of life, different chemical compositions (Highly unlikely, but keeping an open mind right now.) but there is a high chance of being parallel universes - cells or universes which may develop in almost the exact way, with slight variations.
Now that I have established the fact that a universe may be a living cell, and that there may be different universes, is it really far fetched to think that the collection of these universes may be forming a living organism, and that there might be more?
