Welcome to the forum Lucy.
Don't mind Neil, I'm sure he's got the wrong end of the stick and you're hear to get involved with the forum, not to spam us with battery adds - we get so many spammers here that I think he's just gone paranoid. We usually just ban them and delete their messages as soon as they start trying to sell things, but it does get tiresome some times.
Anyway, enjoy the forum!

We may have scared her off, but as Neil picked up on, she may have only been here to spam us with battery adverts. However, when people put spammy URLs as a signature on their posts, the URLs are removed and then blacklisted from the site, so there may have been no reason for her to post anymore. Of course, I could be wrong and being totally unfair to her...

Who is url and why do you keep removing him? How do you know if someone has a spammy one. Do you sniff it? I thought names like "ever ready" might give a battery salesperson away not Lucy Smith!

Lucy (who has contributed tremendously in the last month) had a signature that pointed to a website retailing batteries.
Still, if there is one benefit from her lovely introduction, is that it's got all of us here enjoying this wonderful ' love-in ' .....right here...in this little thread...in virtual land !..awwwwww !

I just signed the petition to ban tortoises from being imported !

Odd you should say that, because when they were just a few months old, they looked like individual pork pies on legs, so we named one of them Pork Pie and the other Mr Pastry.

Whereas normally, if it had been pizzas , ewe wouldn't have given it a moments thought ! [;)] I know I wouldn't have. I luff pizzas and it seems obvious they'd rain down ! [::)]
I hear they are forecasting saveloys later !.......that'll be the cue for the Nuns next door to do their press-ups in the garden ! [;D]
