Not proved anywhere yet, except in the minds of those wanting to believe. Give it some time, and more experiments. Preferably different ones giving the same results. Then I will be glad to discuss the new Enterprise neutrino warp drive :)

What's the principle of it? 
If neutrinos have mass and you fire enough of them continuously out of the rear then they could theoretically accelerate the ship up to near light speed.  (Is that the principle?)  Even if they travel faster than light speed there is still the cosmological speed limit applied to the ship.

MikeS, you are thinking in terms of a normal engine.   If Neutrinos are able to enter another dimension then I guess the principle would be that of surrounding a vessel with a Neutrino field to isolate it from our dimension. 

My boss recorded a UFO through his telescope on the 13th December.  From his description it is clear that the object employed several spherical "shields" which were spinning.  It moved in several directions at speed across the sky and was constantly changing colour with what looked liked electrical discharges all over it.   Here is the best of many clips of his attempts to capture it on his digital camera, yep I actually have it here for you to see. 


The technology is out there we just have to find out how to use it.......   ;)

MikeS, you are thinking in terms of a normal engine.   If Neutrinos are able to enter another dimension then I guess the principle would be that of surrounding a vessel with a Neutrino field to isolate it from our dimension. 


Ah I see, so that's the theory behind it.
If a neutrino can only travel faster than c and is pretty much unaffected by anything, it's kinda difficult to imagine how you could create a controlled neutrino field.  If you could, there is nothing to say that the field would isolate the ship from our dimension.

In which case, using the above argument of a neutrino field to isolate from our dimension, perhaps it could be used to create a time machine.

Massive objects that go faster than light (if any are every found) do not go backwards in time (or they might but we don't have a valid theory for it)  - they screw up causality under special relativity.  but as sr is premised on the axiom that no massive object goes as fast or faster than light - so you just cannot use sr to make predictions about ftl travel

If Neutrinos can travel back in time could this explain how they arrived in Italy first?  A time machine moves through time but a Neutrino time machine would move through space and time!
