Nicki asked the Naked Scientists:
Hello,
My mother has recently had a stroke and is now finding moving very hard and tiring and the right side of her is still trying to make connections.
This made us wonder does the amount of calories used increase for a stroke victim when someone does something simple like wash themselves or walk across a room as she is so exhausted after doing this, compared to before the stroke.
We love the show
Thanks
Nicki
