For some additional information about stem cells, see the following references on this site :
Clive Svendsen (from the Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair) who works on stem cells :

Also, check out the interview with Roger Baker, also from the Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair, conducted 1 year later. This reference is also accompanied by a host of links to other websites containing detailed information about stem cell technology.

To my knowledge, however, there are no current trials of stem cell therapy in place for the treatment of dystonias.

Thanks for the sites, been very helpful. My uncle is thinking about undergoing stem cell transplant (http://stemcelltransplanthelp.com) soon. We are still thinking whether it would be a good choice or not.
