Questions to and answers from the general public...

Unbelievable... Americans, seriously. *shakes head*

Oops...
My reply went to the wrong topic. [:I]
The film was funny.
But... obviously edited to pick the funniest clips.
I just admit that I was thinking of Uruguay and Uganda... but hadn't thought of the US and UK. [xx(]
I liked all the labels people were putting on Australia. [::)]
Every once in a while I get a Nigerian that jumps onto Yahoo Chat claiming that they are Americans. I can usually recognise them within about 2 words... but I will often ask them a basic question about the state they claim to be from, and yes, I ask tough questions, trying to obfuscate them so they can't be easily looked up on the internet.
The "Floridians"... I will ask, "Who is Andrew", (not really intending a "who" answer).
The "Texans" I will ask, "What is the Texas Motto, 'The Lone...'".
The "Ohio" one I asked "What city in Ohio is named after a famous explorer"?
I must admit that the Nigerian's knowledge of their "home state" breaks down very quickly.
It would be interesting to do a similar question and answer session on the streets of London, or at a British College.

If you go looking you will find enough idiots, especially if you only want a 30 second segment and have around 5 hours of footage to start with.

My wife's friend went to her Bank of America branch to order foreign currency for a trip to the UK. The teller insisted that she would have to get Euros! Fortunately, my wife had warned her in advance that she needed GB Pounds.
I would not expect too many people in the US to know what currency is used in the UK, but you'd hope a bank teller would at least know how to find out.

It might be quite entertaining to compare the geography I was taught in school with the current reality. I knew I should have kept my jotters!
I seem to remember having to learn a lot of exciting stuff along the lines of -
"The primary cash crop of Uweboland is cassava........"
(BTW, I did Google "Uweboland" just to make sure it does not actually exist, although I would not have been surprised to learn that it did.)
