Dearest Lovely Science Peeps,
Eyes are great ! You love eyes, I love eyes...we all love eyes !
Can I ask a few questions about eyes please ?
What is happening to the eye when it becomes longsighted ?.....also shortsighted ?
Is it possible to have one eye shortsighted whilst the other is longsighted ?
What determines which ' way' an eye's vision goes ? i.e...Why does one person's eyes go shortsighted whilst another goes longsighted ?
Thanks
Neil

She's probably busy looking after her kids.
If she were to join she could reply and say "yes".
would that move things along much?
There are two ways of looking at short-sightedness (if you forgive the pun)
Either the lens in the eye is too strong for the distance between the front and the back of the eye, or the eye is too big for the lens.
There are a whole lot of things about it here.
