Post by: Brian Cepeda on 02/03/2010 09:30:03
Brian Cepeda  asked the Naked Scientists:

Do we have something that could blow up the asteroid of 2012?

What do you think?

I think chanting?

I have severe doubts seeing us coming together building that deflector.
So yes, chanting might work? I believe it did so in Woodstock??
"No more rain, no more rain" sort of?

Positive thinking friends..

Although we better change that to, what was its name?
99942 Apophis was it? Now chant after me...

"No more 99942 Apophis, no more 99942 Apophis"

And if it miss? Well, there you are..
:)
