FOOD, OVERWEIGHT, OBESITY AND CHILDREN

It is the first time in the history of mankind that many children (as well many adult) will spend most of their childhood (adulthood) being hungry not because of a lack of food, usually caused by natural disaster or because of the presence of war, but because of desperate intention to control weight of the body and, almost in all cases, unsuccessfully.     (“Paint it black”-Rolling Stones)

Does anyone think that something’s is wrong with humans understanding (science) of cause of overweight and obesity?

Not sure that there is ever anything that can happen that has not happened some time before (if not exactly the same, then at least approximately so); but the overall gist of what you say, I would agree with.
