Oh dear... I am sorry..he must feel horrible!

What are some of the measures being taken to help prevent spread and get him well?

My best wishes to you all.

Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for Dr. Chris to inlighten us all again about the details of treatment and containment !

hugs to all Neily!

Thank ewe kareny mam....

I'm not too sure of his current status...he's 50..and has diabetes (the mild one )...he's a head teacher so I gather he must have caught it from school .
last I heard he was isolated at home but that was quite a few hours ago...since then..there is no answer....I guess he must be feeling like sh1t !...he has two daughtys and a wifey !..I know he is on tamiflu right now !

there is ample info available...the NHS direct website gives good advice

ho hum !

Oh dear! I do hope he gets better soon. I suppose we should all be on our guard, but it won't stop me scoffing my breaky at my fav stop on the way to Harrogate on Saturday..... Unless, of course, there are tell tale signs!

Please take care and know we are all here if you need us. I hear treatment is very good and that is important.... Keep your chin up and hang tough!

  Sorry you feel like Poo!
I am however very glad to here that your brother is on the mend and the treatment is provin successfu.
Does him being diabetic make it harder to treat?

Thanks Kareny Mam ....I have no idea regarding the diabeties..but I gather it's worth keeping a close eye on if you have an underlying problem.

I head on the radio this morning that this thing could be around for 2-3 years !

Well I hope The diabetes does no more harm and as YOU say good to keep an open eye towards it just as a precaution for underlying problems!
